Santa Fe Chiropractor
Dr. Bobby Sanchez
Performance Therapy Specialist
Dr. Sanchez has been passionate about health and fitness from a young age. In high school he was always looking for opportunities to be active, whether it was participating in organized sports, strength training at the gym, or working as a lifeguard at the local pool. It was during this time that he began to recognize the value of fitness, not only for physical health, but also for emotional and mental well-being. This knowledge and passion inspired him to pursue bachelor’s and master’s degrees in kinesiology so that he could guide and inspire others in their health and wellness journeys.
Dr. Sanchez has worked in many areas in the health and wellness field, including personal training, health coaching, and high school and collegiate coaching. During his undergraduate years, he was the head coach for the boys’ track and field and cross country teams at Grossmont High School. While completing his master’s degree, he spent a year as an intern coach for the Iowa State track and field team. It was during this time that Dr. Sanchez was introduced to chiropractic sports medicine. He was able to see first hand that chiropractic care not only helped in the treatment and prevention of injuries, but, when used in conjunction with effective, science-based athletic training, optimized physical performance, allowing athletes to not just perform but excel in their sports.
Dr. Sanchez began to seek out whatever information he could find about therapies and corrective exercises. He was fortunate enough to connect with a few talented and passionate professionals who shared their experiences as sports chiropractors. As friends and family began to seek him out for advice on how to improve their fitness and mobility and prevent injury, he discovered he had both a passion and natural talent for the field. He decided to attend Southern California University of Health Sciences to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. While at SCUHS, Dr. Sanchez focused on sports medicine, pursuing additional certifications, volunteering his limited free time treating athletes at multiple sporting events, and completing his internship hours learning from a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
Dr. Sanchez’s goal is to provide you with the treatment and tools you need to live a dynamic, healthy lifestyle, which can be sustained throughout your lifetime. Drawing on his extensive training and knowledge of human physiology, human movement, and effective therapy modalities, Dr. Sanchez focuses on progressive treatments that optimize health and functionality. Dr. Sanchez recognizes that each patient is a unique individual, and therefore will develop a personalized treatment plan to get you out of pain and back to your active lifestyle as quickly as possible.
When not treating patients or adding to his chiropractic knowledge and skills, Dr. Sanchez enjoys spending time outdoors as often as possible, and enjoying the beautiful city of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
